Gemstone: Green Aventurine. A common variety of massive quartz. It can be distinguished from other member of the quartz family by the fine sparkling inclusions. Sourced in Italy, Brazil, China, India, Russia, Tibet, and Nepal. Associated with the planet Mercury and the zodiac sign Aries.

Do not wear jewelry in the shower or swimming. When exposed to water, the metal will tarnish faster. Take jewelry off when sleeping and working out. Renaissance Wax can be applied to slow tarnishing. Store in a closed box or bag. To clean copper, antique bronze, and silver use baking soda mixed with water to create a paste. Use a toothbrush to scrub the jewelry with paste. Rinse with warm water and dry completely. After cleaning apply Renaissance Wax. Jewelry cleaning cloths can also be used. Use Tarnex only if piece does not have antiqued metal (Patina) on it. Please note that the type of wire used is very pliable and can bend out of shape if enough pressure is applied. Do not place your wire wrapped jewelry in a purse or pocket. Jewelry may get caught in lace or knit garments.
