Kyanite is found in metamorphic rocks. The two main colors of kyanite are black and blue. It is used in industry for its low electrical conductivity and resistance to heat. Do not wear jewelry in the shower or swimming. When exposed to water, the metal will tarnish faster. Take jewelry off when sleeping and working out. Store in a closed box or bag. To clean - use jewelry cleaning cloths or use a cleaner like Tarnx.
