About the Artwork:
This piece was visually inspired by graffiti. In this work I wanted to personify my depression by creating a dark storm cloud hanging above. Chine-collé roughly translates from French as “chine”= tissue, and “collé” = glue or paste. The word chine is used because the thin paper traditionally used was imported to Europe from China, India and Japan. Each print is one-of-a kind in the edition.
